Behind the Artist

From a young age, I have always been drawn to expressing how I see the world through art. I grew up painting with my grandmother often, and it quickly became a wonderful way to bond and connect with others through conversation and emotion.

During my time in school, I struggled to find my own creative voice and style, and began to feel like painting was more of a grade and demand rather than something I was passionate about. It took many years for me understand who I was as a creator, and I am continuously still looking to challenge myself and learn something new everyday!

Today, you will find my primary focus on abstract oil paintings based on magical and whimsical worlds from some of my favorite stories and aesthetics. I never want to confine myself to one distant genre or style; I am always testing out new palettes and techniques to see what feels right for a piece. When I am not covered in paint and enjoying my third cup of coffee, I am most likely reading a book with my cat, exploring nature or trying out a new sweet treat recipe!

I am so grateful for all who have shared their love and support through my journey, and I cannot wait to see where this path takes me as we continue to create and explore together!
